Kickboxing

Not sure where to start?
If you’re new to kickboxing, we’ve got you covered!
Our class options below are listed from beginner-friendly to more advanced, so you can build confidence and skill step by step.

Start where you feel comfortable — and progress at your own pace with expert coaching and a supportive crew.

Kickboxing Fundamentals & Intermediate

This class focuses on technique development and is suitable for both beginners and intermediate-level students. Sessions include a mix of bag work, footwork drills, pad work, and partner drills, helping you refine your striking skills in a structured yet adaptable environment.
The coach will tailor the class based on who attends, ensuring that beginners build a strong foundation while intermediate students continue progressing. Expect a technical focus with controlled drills to improve accuracy, movement, and overall kickboxing ability.

What to bring:
Gloves & hand wraps
Towel (mandatory) – or rent one for $7 at reception
All levels welcome — just bring your gear and get ready to sharpen your skills!

Kickboxing Pad Work & Partner Drills

This class focuses on attack and defense drills using Thai pads with a partner to help sharpen your technique, timing, and control. You’ll work on proper striking mechanics, blocking, and countering in a structured and controlled environment.

What to bring:
Gloves (10-12oz or higher) & hand wraps
Towel (mandatory) – or rent one for $7 at reception
Shin guards (required for partner drills)

If you’re new to kickboxing, we highly recommend attending the Fundamentals & Intermediate class first to build a strong foundation before joining this session.

Kickboxing Partner Drills & Light Sparring

This class is designed to help you apply your skills in controlled partner drills and light sparring. You’ll rotate through different partners to practice offense, defense, and countering techniques in a live setting. The focus is on technical execution, timing, and movement rather than power or intensity.

What to bring:
Gloves (10-12oz or higher) & hand wraps
Towel (mandatory) – or rent one for $7 at reception
Shin guards (required)

Glove etiquette: Since we are using lighter gloves (10-12oz) for partner drills and light sparring, it is essential to keep the contact controlled and respectful. Full-power shots are NOT allowed. Proper 16oz gloves should be used for harder sparring sessions.

To join this class, beginners should first complete Fundamentals & Intermediate and at least one Pad Work & Partner Drills session to ensure they have the necessary skills and control.

Kickboxing Technical & Light Sparring (Members Only)

Members only
This class is for those ready to test their skills in a structured, technical sparring environment. You’ll rotate through partners, applying techniques in a light, controlled sparring format to refine timing, reaction speed, and fight IQ.
This is NOT a beginner class. You should first progress from:
Fundamentals & Intermediate → Pad Work & Partner Drills → Partner Drills & Light Sparring before joining. A coach’s approval is required to attend.

What to bring:
16oz gloves (mandatory – we do not provide spares)
Shin guards (required)
Mouthguard (required)
Groin guard (for males)
Towel (mandatory) – or rent one for $7 at reception

This class is the final step in our progression system, helping you transition from drills to live application in a safe and structured way.
